Inspection Reports
Catholic Schools Inspection
Our school was inspected from 22-23rd January 2025; it is testament to the hard work and commitment of our whole school community that The Salesian Academy Of St John Bosco achieved a Good judgment, with six out of nine subsections judged to be Outstanding and the remaining three judged as Good:
All staff serve as outstanding role models, and this ensures that the school’s Salesian charism is fully reflected in their work. Pastoral care is outstanding, with the school having a real focus on supporting the most vulnerable within its community... Pupil behaviour is exemplary.

Ofsted
Our school was inspected on 3rd February under the new Ofsted framework introduced in November 2025.
We are incredibly proud of the progress recognised in this report. Our school has been on a remarkable journey over the past few years, and this inspection highlights what we already knew – that our school is improving.
Coming out of special measures is a hugely significant moment for us and reflects how far we have come. We are not complacent - there is more to do - but we are now in a strong position to accelerate further improvements and ensure that every child achieves their full potential.
Our staff, pupils and wider community have done us proud through their commitment to this improvement, standing by the school, working in partnership with us, and supporting the children every day. We now look ahead with confidence to our new school building and the next chapter in our journey.
Ofsted Report February 2026Pupils are happy and proud to attend this school. From the moment that they walk through the school gate, staff are on hand to support them.
